We are looking forward to our annual Minute to Win It Winterfest event on December 18th & 19th. We hope that you will be able to come to Kirk and enjoy the games with your child(ren). Due to fire marshal guidelines and limited space, each student will only be permitted to have two adult visitors. One visitor must be the parent or legal guardian. Our Winterfest event will take place in the cafeteria, and lunch visitors are not permitted December 17th – 21st.
If you have not had your license scanned in the V-Soft System, we recommend that you do so before Wednesday, December 12th.
If your driver’s license was scanned at any time this year, your information is in our V-Soft system, and you will be able to use our Express Check-in. Tables will be arranged by last names (A-L and M-Z). Please go to the table for your last name, present a valid ID and you will receive a school-issued badge for the event.
All parents/visitors who have not had their driver’s licenses scanned this year will need to go to the front office for check- in. Please be prepared to wait in line. If you need to have your license scanned, please stop by our front office by Wednesday, December 12th. For everyone’s safety, visitors are not permitted on campus without a badge.
If you are not checking your child out, you may exit through the cafeteria door after your child’s event. If you plan to take your child(ren) with you when you leave the Winterfest, you will need to sign them out in their classroom. Once you have signed your child out, his/her teacher will place a sticker on your child. Please note that the stickers will be checked by our door attendants as you leave school after the Winterfest.
If you have another child that you would like to check out and it is not his/her Winterfest time, you will need to send a note to school that morning and sign him/her out in the front office. Only parent or legal guardians will be allowed to sign a child out from the classroom.
December 18th & 19th are instructional days. Students may not participate in a sibling’s Winterfest event. This district procedure includes elementary, middle school and high school aged siblings. Please note that if a student is not in attendance on December 18th or 19th or has been signed out early, he/she may not return to campus to attend a sibling’s event.
Visitors include grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends, etc., and must be with a parent or guardian to attend the event.
